I bought this car at the beginning of the year. The previous owner had started to spray it but didn't complete the job so this is where I took over.
It is a 1974 Mazda 1300 FA3TS Sedan
It's got a 12a Carby Fed engine which is stock
Series 2 RX7 5sp Gearbox
Original Diff
R100/RX2 Rear Lights

So over the weekend we were able to put the engine and gearbox in. I took us around 3 and a half hours just to get the engine on the mounts due to the fact that we had a problem when one of the ropes on the hoist gave way and the engine and gearbox spun and it took forever to get back over. Once the engine was on the mounts, we took the gearbox off the stands and tried to jack it into the correct position. This is where we had a problem. The gearbox mount wouldn't line up correctly to the bolt holes on the gearbox crossmember. Now we are going to have to make up a bracket for it so it go on.

So over the next few weeks we will connect everything up and start her up and I'll post up a video.
Once we know everything is all correct and good, it will be going to the panel beaters to get the engine bay blasted and resprayed and the inside of the car sprayed.
